For the fourth consecutive time, Brittany Force is again the #1 qualifier in Top Fuel at the Menards NHRA Nationals Presented By PetArmor.
Brittany will face Scott Palmer in round 1 with the winner getting a bye in the 2nd round and moving into the semi's.
In Funny Car, JR Todd will get the bye in the first round on Sunday and then face the winner from the matchup between Ron Capps and Chad Green.
During the second qualifying session at the Menards NHRA Nationals Presented By PetArmor at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, Tim Wilkerson’s Funny Car crossed the center line and made contact with Cruz Pedregon’s car. The two made contact with the wall before both coming to a stop. Both drivers exited their vehicles under their own power.
Neither driver were injured in the accident.
With Pro Stock Motorcycle off this weekend, The only Pro Stock #1 qualifier is Troy Coughlin Jr who will face Cristian Cuadra in round one. A tough round 2 awaits with the winner coming from the matchup from Bruno Massel & Mason McGaha.
