After finishing in the top 3 in the first three races of the 2022 season, Noah Gragson upped his game by winning the United Rentals 200 at Phoenix.
Gragson passed Brandon Jones for the lead with 14 laps to go and went on to score his sixth career series win.
The final 100 laps of the race went green forcing green-flag pit stops to begin with about 40 laps to go. Brandon Jones short-pitted two laps prior to Gragson in an attempt to get pas the leader. The strategy worked to perfection and he jumped out to a 1.2-second lead until Gragson was able to catch up and retake the lead on lap 187.
