Ben Rhodes Captures 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship At Phoenix Raceway

After opening the 2021 season with 2 wins in Daytona, Ben Rhodes has end-capped the season by winning the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship at the seasons conclusion.

In Rhodes sixth full season in the Truck Series, he has experienced moderate success prior to his hot start to the 2021 season and its sizzling finish. He finished the 2021 season with two wins, eight top-five finishes and 16 top 10s in 22 races. He tied with Nemechek and Todd Gilliland for the most top 10s this season.

“I can’t even breathe, that was the hardest last 40 laps I think I’ve ever driven in my life,” Rhodes said after the race. “I was doing things with the race car I probably shouldn’t have been doing. It was dumb, but I had everything to lose.

“We brought it home and we won it. I don’t even know what to say. This is crazy. I’m so proud, so proud of my ThorSport Racing group. We went to Daytona, this wasn’t like a vision that we had. Everybody wants to win, but you just don’t know. It’s so hard.”

Final Championship 4 Standings:

  1. Ben Rhodes

  2. Zane Smith

  3. John Hunter Nemechek

  4. Matt Crafton

Congrats to Ben Rhodes and everyone at ThorSport Racing!
