Kyle Larson Tries Out A Modified At Eldora Speedway And Wins, Has Won In Seven Divisions At Eldora

Kyle Larson did something he's never done before on Tuesday night at Eldora Speedway. Larson, the winner of Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway, made his first-ever start behind the wheel of a dirt modified during Castrol FloRacing Night in America.

Larson drove a Modified owned by Mike Allgaier and is normally driven by NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Justin Allgaier.

While Larson had never raced a dirt modified, he is no stranger to victory lane at Eldora Speedway. The Hendrick Motorsports driver is the defending winner of Castrol FloRacing Night in America at the track and a former Kings Royal winner behind the wheel of a sprint car.

Larson started the evening by qualifying 6th and quickly gathered the comfort he needed in the car. He turned that qualifying run into a victory in his heat race and seemed ready to fight for the win in the 20 lap feature.

To no surprise, Larson put on an impressive showing as he dominated the main event. In doing so, he now has victories in seven different divisions at Eldora.
